Kathy...in the midst of a Thunder storm here, but will attempt to continue;
"Highland Durham Games" is that the Scottish games, or something altogether different?
Whatever it is--may you have good weather there.
The storms here in our part have been mild compared to other MI areas-so cannot really complain and will not.
AT&T or GTE have had problems keeping us up and on-line.
Barb
Barb - we are wireless at home but lots of trees that get in the way during a storm and at our hidaway we are on satellite so storm's are an issue in both places ..... one of the joys of living in the country
Hi Kathy....I like the looks of that Fruit basket...although it reminds me of the harvest season in the Fall.
Cheers
Kathy - Fred took the words right out of my mouth. I was thinking his thoughts before I saw his comment.
Fred and Marc - LOL - 1 apple and 1 pear ..... hardly a fruit basket but indeed a mixed late summer basket ..... the picture was taken at a very early fall fair. It looks more appealing than a bin of a single produce and better represents the smorgasbord of farm fare available at the local markets.
Kathy,
It's wonderful that you promote this market on your blog. I've heard about your farmers market but have not had an opportunity to make the trip to visit. This year marks the second season of The Woodbridge farmers market at Market Lane and I'm trying to support them as much as possible. Good going....
Sergio - Ontario is blessed with many local events and attractions ..... our blogs are a great way to spread the word
Farmers markets are something else and really make our area come alive and get people out of bed early on a Saturday Morning. We have some great ones in Reston and Arlington. Would love to see some photos of a future market.
Robert - indeed they do
